Rossana Petrillo

The artist Rossana Petrillo was born in Cassino in 1957, since 1988 she lives and works in Caserta. Her lite in art field starts at High School of art and continues at architectu­res University of Rome. In 1979 she stops studies to dedicate herself to a large range of experiments, from jewelry to restorations work. In 1980 R.P. opens a labo­ratory where she performes many works with leather and paper mache using ancient instruments and techiniques. In 1988 she entirely dedicates herself to pain­ting and her transfer to Caserta coincides with the discovery cif her current style. The artist becames famous tor the feminine figures which appear on precious silks and damasks. In 1990 R.P. has her first exhibit1on.
