Antonio Tamburro

Antonio Tamburro is a famous italian artist known in all the world. His paintings are exposed in prestigious international art galleries and private collections. In these last years he held important exhibitions in Paris, Toulouse, London, Munchen, Berlin, Wien, St.Moritz, Rome. In 2008 he had the honor to paint the portrait of Pope Benedetto XVI that was donated to the Holy Father. The portrait is exposed now at Paulina’s library in St.Peter . In 2009 he held an important retrospective exhibition “The sense of time. Works from 1980 to 2009” at Palazzo Venezia in Rome. In 2012 he held a public exhibition “ColorAzione” with the big designer, sculptor and international architect Gaetano Pesce at the Centre of Altinate San Gaetano in Padua.
During the XXX Olympic Games in London 2012 he held a solo exhibition “Tradition and Innovation - Italian Olympic Spirit” at the Italy House CONI within the Queen Elisabeth II Conference Westminster.
